There are some yoga materials required that makes the practice of hatha yoga easy and more comfortable. In comparison to other sports hatha yoga requires very few materials though. Most important form of material used while practicing hatha yoga is the clothing. Apart from being comfortable one needs to make sure that they are tight enough and securely fastened and that they do not slide when you are doing the different poses. Since some of the poses of this yoga needs you to stand upside down, you need to ensure that the shirt does not fall over the top of your head while doing so. For women, the more common apparel are tights and a comfortable sleeveless shirt. For men, shorts and a tank top are also common. Another important piece of material used to practice hatha yoga is a yoga mat. These mats provide the required amount of support and cushioning to the body. These mats also stay firm to the ground and does not move or slip thereby making it easy and safe to practice different and difficult yoga positions. Owning a yoga mat is a better option than borrowing one. Yoga produces a lot of sweat and having your own ensures they are well sanitized after each use.Travel yoga mats are another material useful for yoga entusiasts who are on the move most of the time. This will ensure that they do not miss their yoga practice even when they are travelling.
